Photography by Ray Carrington and Jo-Carolyn Goode - On Sunday, April 21, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Hilton Americas-Hotel for the Ivy Educational and Charitable Foundation of Houston, Inc. (IEACF) 32nd Annual Scholarship Luncheon and Fashion Show. High fashion from Dillard’s Post Oak and Woody’s Furs were showcased by local celebrity models that included Kim Roxie, Melinda Spaulding and Scott Gertner in a show produced by “Houston’s Fashion Guy” Todd Ramos. IEACF recognized Roslyn Bazzelle, Alsie Cluff Jr., Susan Deison, Dr. Felicia Austin Jordan, Carin Patman, and Latosha Lewis Payne for their outstanding civic engagement and leadership. Paula Harris and Merele Yarborough were named to the “Hall of Fame.” Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit deserving high school seniors and college students. Some in attendance were IEACF President Staci Taylor Fullmighter, Laura Whitley, Karen Johnson, Marianne Walker, Kim Topps, Congressman Al Green, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Mary Smith Johnson, Toni Smith, Zoie Johnson, Polly Sparks Turner, Rhonda Arnold, Mae Rose, Regina Carrington, Marsha Penn, Marva Adams, Hermoine Delco, Linda Knight Burkley, Connie Steward, Faye Gray, and Yvaunda White.
