Photography by Vicky Pink - On Thursday, July 25, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Junior League of Houston for the annual C-STEM da Vinci Booster Club Breakfast. The da Vinci Booster Club Breakfast challenged individuals/businesses to make annual commitments or small monthly gift commitments of $10 to $200, to provide ongoing support for C-STEM’s program and activities. CSTEM strongly believes all kids should follow in the footsteps of daVinci and explore both the artist and engineer within them. Thus, this year’s breakfast theme was da Vinci. The event featured $5,000 donations from State Farm, and the Dominion Foundation on behalf of Dr. Robert Satcher, NASA Astronaut and Physician. Some in attendance were Dr. Reagan Flowers, Laolu Davies, and Jeanette Huff.
