Photography by Vicky Pink - On Thursday, August 1, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the South Texas College of Law for the 2013 Summer Legal Internship Program Luncheon. Now in its fifth year, the program places high school students in law firms and legal agencies. Students are given the opportunity to have a paid, eight-week internship in a professional environment. The program was established in 2009-2010 by HBA President Barrett Reasoner. Justice Eva Guzman of the Supreme Court of Texas was the keynote speaker at this year’s luncheon. Some in attendance were Angelica Adams, David A. Chaumette, Jim Zucker, Tyresa Morgan, and Andre Cruz.
