Photography by Vicky Pink - On Tuesday, December 3, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the University of Houston for the University of Houston African American Studies Graduation Celebration. After many years of study students in the African American Studies program can say the tassel is worth the hassle as their graduation day is upon them. Now they will venture off to graduate school and their future careers. In attendance celebrating with students was Dr. James L. Conyers, Jr., Dr. Malachi D. Crawford, Mary Sias, Gwendolyn Alfred, and Irene Ray.
