On Saturday, February 2, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Renaissance Houston Greenway Plaza Hotel for the 15th Annual Houston Area Urban League Guild (HAUL) Masked Ball. The yearly affair is the primary fundraiser for HAUL and helps to fund the many community outreach programs HAUL provides. The Mardi Gras themed event includes southern cuisine, lively music and dancing along with other entertainment. Over 400 guests attended the ball that awarded guests with Best Masked Female and Male. Some in attendance were HAUL President and CEO Judson Robinson III, Masked Ball Chairperson Jory Patton, Juana Collins, Terrance Williams, Helen George, Yolanda Green, Judge Zinetta Burney, Sylvia Brooks, Pernilla Higgins, Judge Clarease Rankin Yates, Cary Yates, Elijah Woods, Sharmagne Taylor, Felicia Jackson, Marcus A. Caldwell, Bobby Scott, Schelda Williams, Morris Clark, Sondra Sams, Sydna Paul, and Sherri Smith.
