Photography by Roswitha Vogler. On Wednesday, January 30, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the City Hall Annex Council Chambers for Doing Business with the City of Houston symposium. Houston City Council Member Larry Green facilitated the symposium for newspaper vendors to educate them on the advertising purchasing process of the City of Houston. Further, this forum informed newspaper vendors of the City’s process for selling ad space within their respective publications. Council Member Green and Carlecia Wright, Director of the Office moderated the symposium for Business Opportunity Dept. Some in attendance were City Controller Ron Green, Sue Lovell, and City Councilmember Jerry Jones.
