Photography by Vicky Pink - On Friday, July 19, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at 10th Annual Kids’ University Graduation hosted by Change Happens. Kids’ University is a partnership between Change Happens! and the University of Houston’s Urban Experience Program. Kids’ University focuses on helping children from Houston’s lower economic communities and area homeless shelters to have an opportunity to build upon their academic skills and learn the importance of achieving a higher education. The program is designed to help youth aspire to higher learning and to understand that their futures can include college.
