Photography by Vicky Pink - On Saturday, November 9, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the United Way of Houston for Houston Area Urban League’s (HAUL) 2013 Small Business Exchange. The Houston Area Urban League Entrepreneurship Center, in partnership with the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce, National Urban League, Goldman Sachs 10KSB, Wells Fargo, Port of Houston, and UPS presented this one day entrepreneurship summit. Attendees had opportunities to network and learn from industry leaders and successful entrepreneurs who gave guidance to achieve success. The Summit also offered informative sessions on long-term financial strategies to keep your business profitable. Guest speakers consisted of Carey Yates, Ean McClarthy, Leslie Wilson, Darryl King and Eric Sonnier. Also in attendance were Judson Robinson, Eric Goode, Phillip Yates and State Rep. Ron Reynolds.
