Photography by Vicky Pink - On Friday, September 27, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the JW Marriott Galleria Houston for the 2013 International Leadership Awards Black-Tie Gala celebrating Honorary Chair & State Representative Sylvester Turner hosted by Texas Women Empowerment Foundation (TWEF). It was a night of honors featuring Frazier Wilson, Dr. Shirley Davis, William D. Flores, Mark Thierry, Catherine Mitchell, State Rep. Sylvester Turner, and Steve Pemberton. Kristyn and Francis Page, Jr., served as Honorary Chairs of the 2013 7th Annual International Financial & Leadership Summit. Some in attendance were Rev. Leslie Smith, Rhonda Arnold, Kim Roxie, Tammy Campbell, Mario Diaz, and Dr. Milton Moore.
