Photography by Vicky Pink - On Thursday, April 3, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Hilton Americas Houston for Greater Houston Partnership’s (GHP) annual State of the City featuring Mayor Annise Parker. At the affair, Mayor Parker announced that she will present a proposed Human Rights Ordinance to Houston City Council for approval in mid-May to prohibit discrimination in city hiring, contracting housing and public accommodations.
