On Thursday, July 30, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand in Boston, MA at the Sheraton Boston Hotel for the 2014 National Association of Black Journalists Convention and Career Fair. The convention kicked off by welcoming thousands of journalists, media executives, public relations professionals, and students to the convention and Boston at a festive reception and opening ceremonies. The Boston Globe and the Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau sponsored the affair and it was hosted by Paul Burton and Carole SImpson. Some spotted in the crowd were Cindy George, Freddie Willis Jr., Mary Benton, and Jerome Solomon.
