Photography by Vicky Pink On Wednesday, August 13, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Houston City Hall as they remembered and honored famed Houston photographer Anthony “Tony” W. Morris. There was never a day when Houston City Council met that Tony was not in his reserved seat capturing every moment of Houston history. Mayor Annise Parker honored Tony earlier in the month when she proclaimed August 5th Tony Morris Day. She again honored him upon hearing of his death. City Councilman Dwight Boykins made a memorial for Tony at the meeting as well. Houston City Council meetings will never be the same without the presence of Tony. Rest in peace Tony.
