On Wednesday, December 3, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at George Bush Intercontinental Airport for the inaugural Emirates A380 landing in Houston. Mayor Anise Parker, Houston Airport System representatives and Emirates executives welcomed the Emirates’s A380 airline to Houston as they launched daily direct A380 service from Dubai to George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Following the landing and celebratory water cannon salute, attendees toured the aircraft’s unique luxury amenities, including signature Shower Spas and the Onboard Lounge located on the aircraft’s upper deck. Some in attendance were Mario Diaz, Director, City of Houston Department of Aviation and Hubert Frach, Divisional Senior Vice President, Emirates Airline.
