Photography by Vicky Pink - On Saturday, January 11, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was at the Judson Robinson Jr. Community Center as Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and community leaders hosted a townhall meeting. Community residents gathered with their Houston congressional leaders to come up with an action plan to save neighborhood post offices. The Postal Service is threatening to close several of the neighborhood main post offices. These Post Offices are important to the community and its closure would create significant problems for Houston residents - especially seniors, families and the disabled. Some in attendance were Congressman Al Green, Houston City Councilmen Larry Green & Dwight Boykins, Andrew Burks, Cindy George, Gerald Womack, and Dr. Carolyn Evans. "
