Photography by Vicky Pink On Thursday, June 5, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic for Kelsey Research Foundation’s National Cancer Survivors Day. The event is held annually in hundreds of communities throughout the world to demonstrate that life after a cancer diagnosis can be a reality. In addition to meeting other survivors and enjoying some refreshments, survivors engaged in shared testimonials of cancer survival and hope. Some in attendance were Kathy Gabriel, Anthony Greisinger, Merle Howe, Helen Hudson, Frediswinda Busby, Lucille Barriere, Lydia Henn, Peggy Louie, Belinda Ybarbo, Joan Wolochin, Gale Yandall, Nancy Witt, Acie Brock, Robert Korst, Julie Korst, and Sonia Barre.
