Photography by Roswitha Vogler - On Tuesday, March 4, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand as Comcast announced its plan to invest $25,000 in grants in Pasadena, TX to enhance digital learning. The money will be used to create “Internet Essentials Learning Zone” at Neighborhood Centers Inc. and The Bridge Over Troubled Waters in the Pasadena area. This project is part of Comcast’s Gold Medal Recognition Program to provide non-profit partners throughout the country grants who are leading the way in connecting families to home broadband through Internet Essentials. Families in Pasadena can qualify for six months of complimentary Internet Essentials service if they apply between March 4th-18th.
