Photography by Vicky Pink - On Thursday, March 6, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Stewart Cadillac as Sparkles of Life made their "Big Reveal" for the 4th Annual "High Heels and Hats" Mother's Day Brunch to be held May 3rd at the Villagio from 11:30am-1:00pm. "High Heels and Hats" honorees are mothers that have continuously broken barriers in their respective field and have left an indelible mark in their community. Both honorees and celebrity keynote speaker Mrs. Mariah Huq were publically revealed. A beauty suite was in session sponsored by Houston Beauty: “Styles by Him” with Corey Ford and MU touchups by MW Face. 2014 honorees are Krista Bourne, Kysha Reid, Kristyn Page, Barbara Curtis Hare, Karen Johnson, Debbie Festari, Hawa Stinson, Lashica Salter-Velazquez, Dr. Joanie Hare OB/GYN, Docia Rudley, and Kandi Eastman. Some in attendance were Sparkle of Life Founder Rhonda Lewis-Nwosu, Rebecca Briscoe, and Alaina Mayes.
