Photography by Roswitha Vogler On Wednesday, March 19, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at The Junior League of Houston for the American Advertising Federation-Houston Creative Thought Leader Speaker Series March Luncheon. Using the theme “Powerful Women: People, Persistence and Passion,” Dr. Laura G. Murillo, President and CEO of Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, was the keynote speaker. She spoke about what it takes to lead a progressive organization in the most diverse city of America. Some in attendance were Mark Hayden, Jenna White, Tracy Weldon, Marissa Deslatte, Nicole Fellers, Angie Garza, Ezzie Palmer, Linda Ho, Ginger Stephens, and Hector Lozaro.
