Photography by Kareem Williams On Saturday May 3, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Tracy Gee Community Center for the All Kids Healthy Campaign. The Children's Defense Fund, Alief and Houston ISD partnered to provide families with children's Medicaid and CHIP application assistance. Close to 100 uninsured children were helped. The partnership between the school districts and CDF-Texas is an integrated and expanded initiative that continues to reach families with information about health coverage options for children. Assisting community members and volunteers were Houston Style Magazine’s own Lisa Valadez and Cecilia Smith.
