Photography by Vicky Pink On Saturday, September 27, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand in Washington, D.C. for Cathy Hughes’ Celebration Party during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation 44th Annual Legislative Weekend. Many supporters gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of Radio One’s founder Cathy Hughes and congratulate her on receiving the Phoenix Award during the annual awards gala held in conjunction with the Congressional Black Caucus. Some paying tribute to her were Rep. Chaka Fattah, Michael Eric Dyson, Susan Taylor, James Fortune and Rep. Joyce Beatty.
