Photography by Vicky Pink On Tuesday, October 14, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Francis Scott Key Middle School as Stacey and Bo Porter SELF Foundation hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for a new baseball field at the school. The SELF Foundation supports programs that improve the lives of the community through sports, education, life skills, and faith. The Fondren Foundation is generously providing the funds for the new field and will be built by SFM Landscape and Maintenance, LLC. It is scheduled to open during the spring of 2015. Some in attendance were Stacey & Bo Porter, Enos Cabell, Ralph Garr, Trenidad Hubbard, Garrett Mock, Chester Pitts, Ryan Terry, Mike Titley, SELF Foundation Board Members, HISD Officials, Key Middle School Faculty & Students, and representatives from Chick-fil-A & Kroger.
