Photography by Vicky Pink On Friday, October 17, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Central Care Community Health Care as Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee made an important announcement about the country’s handling of the Ebola crisis. Congresswoman Lee brought together nurses and other health officials to inform the community that the federal government is working closely with the medical community to educate, train and respond to our communities concerns as we address Ebola. She also discussed the position of a National Coordinator for waging the fight against Ebola cases in the United States. Some joining Congresswoman Lee for the announcement were Former Surgeon General Dr. Regina Benjamin (via teleconference), National Nurses United and other Nurses from around the State and Health Care officials.
