Photography by Vicky Pink - On Thursday, June 18, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Gite Gallery for the 'Women for Laurie' Fundraising Reception. Hosted by some of Houston’s leading women leaders, the reception was in support of Laurie Robinson’s campaign for Houston City Council At-Large Position 4. Robinson has said that the contributions received would further help her campaign to reach every community in Houston. Some on the host committee were the Hon. Wanda Adams, Dr. Janice Beal, Jennifer Hohman, Maggie Kirk, Kellie Penn, Nicole Robinson, Hon. Rhonda Skillern-Jones, Cheryl Beausoleil, Angelina Hollins-Blaylock, Shante Lawson, Jackie Pierre, Carolyn Scantlebury, Hon. Tiffany Thomas, Kimberly Boyd, Courtney Johnson-Rose, Jeanette Penn, Letitia Plummer, and Nicole Thierry.
