Photography by Vicky Pink On Friday, March 6, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Hilton Americas for the University of Houston’s Friends of Women’s Studies’ Table Talk 2015. Houston’s premier networking luncheon, Table Talk brings together diverse groups of Houston women in a format that builds connections in support of the Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies Program at the University of Houston. Tina Knowles was the first Honorary Chair with 2015 Co-chairs Caroline Fant and Mandy Kao. Some conversationalists included Mayor Parker; Christine Ha; Annell Bay ; Anne Taylor; Dr. Ruth Simmons; Barbara Padilla; Maria Rios; Marley Lott; Sannam Warrender and Roz Pactor; Lynne Liberato; Deavra Daughtry; Yamile Jackson; Reyne Hirsch; Mary Magsamen; Leisa Holland-Nelson; Dr. Elizabeth Chiao; Jacqueline Bostic; Christine Gorczynski; Purva Patel; Kristin Wong; and Andrea Gardner. Some attendance were Rhea Lawson, Wanda Adams, Licia Ellis, Ashley Small, Phyllis Bailey, and Rev. Mia Wright.
