On Thursday, March 12, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at The DeGaulle for the Ready for Hillary Reception in Houston. DJ Good Grief hosted the affair that chaired by Rep. Gene Wu. Senator Rodney Ellis was a special guest. Honorary hosts included Senator Sylvia R. Garcia, Rep. Carol Alvarado, Rep. Harold Dutton, Rep. Sylvester Turner, Rep. Hubert Vo, Council Member Dwight Boykins, Council Member Ellen Cohen, Vice Mayor Pro Tem Jerry Davis, Council Member Robert Gallegos, Council Member Larry Green, Council Member Mike Laster, Constable Alan Rosen, Constable Christopher Diaz, and Mayor Ana Diaz. The affair was hosted by Wendy Adair, Leigh Duong, Rita Lucido, Patrice McKinney, Michael A. Olivas, Bette Pesikoff, Elizabeth Stephens Gregory, and Mark Yzaguirre. Guests sipped on a specialty drink fit for Hillary and waged their support of her.
