37th Annual Greater Houston Area Chapters of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.® Joint Founders' Day Celebration
On Saturday, February 3, 2024, the 37th Annual Greater Houston Area Chapters of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.® Joint Founders' Day Celebration was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Dressed in white with flower accents, the ladies commemorated 111 years of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action. Collette V. Smith, NFLs 1st Black Female Coach, was the keynote speaker offering inspiring words to the assembly. Some in attendance were Harris County Clerk Teneshia Hudspeth, Houston City Councilwoman Tiffany D. Thomas, Judge Wanda Adams, Jacqueline Bostic, Jacqueline Bostic McElroy, Ursula Bostic, Karen Reese, Brenda Kinner-Sandles, Nita Gilbert, DeAndrea L. Hughes, Tina Marie Jones, and Staci Frazier,
