It is a time when people gather with family and friends to express gratitude and appreciation for the good things in their lives. Those less fortunate may spend Thanksgiving in homeless shelters or the cold. A few may receive a traditional Thanksgiving lunch, but many others will go hungry.

The panel discussion, which will be moderated by HCC’s Fashion Design Professor Alex Chapman, will be held at Central Library 1st Floor Art Gallery on Sunday, August 19 at 2 PM. Panelists will include special guest, Houston designer David Peck, as well as some of the designers highlighted in the exhibit: Jing Cao, Inge Duran, David Julian Valdez, Shanda Phillips, Teresa Rangel, Ebonie Sophus, and Maria Hammond.
