County and city officials have warned that the streets will be covered in ice and that is something most Houstonians are not use. They want everyone to stay off the roads unless it is an emergency. School closures will help with keeping people safe and avoiding accidents. Use the next 48 hours to be prepared to shelter in place at least for two days.
