Three-time Grammy Award-winning artists ZAC BROWN BAND will headline Super Bowl LI pregame festivities at NRG Stadium in Houston on Sunday, February 5, the NFL announced today. Indie-pop group FITZ AND THE TANTRUMS will kick off the NFL Tailgate Party before turning over the floor to Zac Brown Band, and both performances will be televised live on the FOX NFL Sunday Pregame Show.

Houston Public Works announces the winners of the “Imagine a Day Without Water” TikTok Contest. Imagine a Day Without Water is a national day of education and advocacy about the value of water. Dozens of entries were received to highlight the importance and value of water in Houston. Applicants had to follow the City of Houston TikTok channel @cityofhouston, and live in the Greater Houston Area. Each participant’s TikTok entry must also use the hashtag #ValueWaterHouston.

Houston Chamber Choir returns to Miller Outdoor Theatre after three-year absence with free concert “This Land Is Your Land” on Oct. 29
The Grammy® Award-winning Houston Chamber Choir, led by Robert Simpson, is back at Miller Outdoor Theatre for the first time since 2019 presenting “This Land Is Your Land” as the second performance of its 2022-2023 season. The concert on Saturday, Oct. 29 is free and open to the public at Houston’s iconic outdoor performance space in Hermann Park. The Choir missed 2020 and 2021 Miller Outdoor Theatre performances due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
