Home Cooking: Houston Texans Plays First Home Game of the 2018 NFL Season Against the Giants

Growing up, I can admit that I wasn’t the perfect angel. I know that’s hard to believe but it’s true. 'Sicario' sequel delivers action while fumbling on border politics

A sequel that stands on its own, "Sicario: Day of the Soldado" works best as a taut, crisp action vehicle, and worst as a muddled look at geopolitics, the U.S.-Mexican border and terrorism. Given the prevailing political climate, the latter feels especially unhelpful and ill timed, putting the movie on firmer footing when it focuses on a hitman moved to protect the daughter of the cartel leader he otherwise despises.

Jamie Foxx rises again as dad, the vampire hunter, in Netflix's dreary 'Day Shift'

"Day Shift" is about vampires, but it's one of those Frankenstein-like movies stitched together from used parts, with Jamie Foxx as a family man version of Marvel's Blade, mashed up with horror and buddy comedy. It's the kind of star-driven vehicle that yields obvious benefits to Netflix even if, qualitatively speaking, it doesn't deserve to see the light of day.

Mitch McConnell is the master of the "no comment." Ask the Senate minority leader about something that he doesn't want to talk about, and he will give you a "haven't seen that" or "don't have anything to say about that" as easy as Steph Curry shooting a three.
