According to a new study by the NCLR, median incomes for Latinos in California went up more than $5,000 annually, and the poverty level dropped 2.4 percentage points. The number of businesses owned by Latinos in California increased by 43.9 percent between 2005 and 2011 and the number of Latinos in California earning college degrees went up 25% between 2011 and 2015.
