Komen® Houston, in conjunction with Theresa’s Research Foundation, will host the 2nd South Central Metastatic Breast Cancer Conference: A Conference for Those Living with Advanced Breast Cancer, on Friday, February 7 and Saturday, February 8, 2020. The conference is designed by patients with Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC), for patients with MBC and aims to inform conference participants about scientific breakthroughs and emerging treatment options, how to improve quality of life for MBC patients and how to create a support system.

TSU student awarded BeyGOOD Homecoming scholarship

Jordan Davis, a senior Healthcare Administration major at Texas Southern University is one of eight recipients of the 2018-2019 BeyGOOD Homecoming Scholars Award. He will receive a scholarship totaling $25,000. Davis participates in Habitat for Humanity and is a member of TSU Honors College Enrichment, Urban Gardening, Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, and is a Young Life Christian Fellowship counselor. He plans to start a home health-care business after graduation.
