Super Bowl Champion, businessman, and broadcaster Michael Strahan was honored with the university's highest honor, the doctorate degree at Spring Commencement Exercises on Saturday, May 11th. This special moment occurred at the campus Health and PE Arena with over 10,000 in attendance! Houston Style Magazine's Rebecca Briscoe learned that Dr. John Rudley, university president, made a special trip to New York recently to officially make the offer to Strahan.
