TxDOT Public Meeting: State Highway 3 Access Management Study
Council Member Dave Martin would like to let District E residents know the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will be hosting a public meeting to gather input on an access management study for State Highway 3 (SH 3) from Brookglen Drive to the Harris/Galveston County line. The meeting will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the City of Webster Civic Center, 311 Pennsylvania Avenue, Webster, Texas, 77598.

Grant Applications Now Open for Local Artists and Cultural Nonprofits In Need of Disaster Relief from Harvey Arts Recovery Fund
the Harvey Arts Recovery Fund (HARF), which supports Houston artists, performers, musicians and arts and culture organizations in need of disaster assistance. The second round of grant awards will be distributed this spring and the application is open from Feb. 15 to March 1, 2018 at www.harveyartsrecovery.org. In January, HARF awarded more than $40,000 to local artists and arts, heritage and cultural organizations who suffered personal and professional losses due to Hurricane Harvey.
