The traveling lifestyle experience was hosted by Minute Maid Park, home of our World Series champions; The Houston Astros. The event featured visual masterpieces as well as interactive talents, technology and more from renowned artist across the country. Couple that with some live DJ's including Houston's own DJ Big Reeks of The Waxaholics, a headlining set from the legendary, hip-hop producer and DJ: Mannie Fresh; and a donation to benefit devastated Hurricane Harvey areas and you have captured the essence of AB+L.

Houston Bidding for 2019 and 2020 NFL Draft
Members of the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority were in New York City recently in an attempt to convince members of the NFL to bring the NFL Draft to Houston in either 2019 or 2020. HCHSA CEO Janis Schmees Burke was on hand at a City of Houston council meeting to receive recognition on the World Corporate Games coming to Houston in November and told the council she had just been in New York vying to bring the draft to Houston for the first time.

City Cleans Two Homeless Encampments
A citywide group of employees and environmental contractors once again were out in full force deep cleaning two homeless encampments this week, which have more than doubled since August, when a temporary restraining order was put in place to block the city’s anti-encampment ordinance. Members of the city representing health, general services, police, fire, and the Mayor’s Office first visited the encampments and offered to store all personal possessions, before the cleanups took place.
