Watch Kamala Harris make history at DNC

Want more of the latest 2020 election videos? Watch here: https://cnn.it/3iM1ESH California Sen. Kamala Harris made history night as the first Black and South Asian woman to accept a major party's vice presidential nomination, promising to be a champion for the voiceless and forgotten Americans who are struggling in the midst of a pandemic and an economic crisis. She introduced herself as the daughter of Indian and Jamaican immigrants who would strive to restore the principles of inclusivity after four years of divisiveness under Trump, citing the example of her mother who she said taught her daughters to "be conscious and compassionate about the struggles of all people" and to believe that "the fight for justice is a shared responsibility." Harris noted that was why she became a prosecutor who tried to reform the criminal justice system from within. Harris said she and former Vice President Joe Biden share "a vision of our nation as a beloved community -- where all are welcome, no matter what we look like, where we come from, or who we love." Though Americans may not "agree on every detail," they are "united by the fundamental belief that every human being is of infinite worth, deserving of compassion, dignity and respect," she said. #DNC #2020Election #CNN #News

Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth star in Academy Award-winning mastermind George Miller’s “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” the much-anticipated return to the iconic dystopian world he created more than 30 years ago with the seminal “Mad Max” films. Miller now turns the page again with an all-new original, standalone action adventure that will reveal the origins of the powerhouse character from the multiple Oscar-winning global smash “Mad Max: Fury Road.” The new feature from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures is produced by Miller and his longtime partner, Oscar-nominated producer Doug Mitchell (“Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Babe”), under their Australian-based Kennedy Miller Mitchell banner. As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home. Taylor-Joy stars in the title role, and along with Hemsworth, the film also stars Alyla Browne and Tom Burke. Miller penned the script with “Mad Max: Fury Road” co-writer Nico Lathouris. Pictures, in theaters only nationwide on May 24, 2024 and internationally beginning on 22 May, 2024.

To Write Love On Her Arms Trailer

The latest trailer for To Write Love On Her Arms has premiered and it’s more than a little quirky and a tad underwhelming. Still the always-charming and rather lovely Kat Dennings manages to make up for any of its shortcomings. You can check it out and judge for yourself. First things first; is it just me or was it impossible to keep track of Kat Dennings’ hairstyles in that trailer? She seemed to go from bangs to goth to curls within the blink of an eye. The fact that I’ve started off by talking about Kat Dennings’ hair rather than any other element of To Write Love On Her Arms probably shows you just how underwhelmed I was with the trailer. But before I go in to greater detail about why I don’t have any inkling whatsoever to see the film, here is Sony Pictures’ official synopsis for it: "Based on the true story that started a global movement, To Write Love on Her Arms presents a vision of hope, healing and redemption. Emmy® Award winner Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls) stars as Renee, a Florida girl who struggles with addiction and abuse. In a creative blend of artistic fantasy and music conflicted with hard reality, Renee discovers the value of genuine friendships and embarks on a daunting yet courageous journey towards recovery. The film also stars Chad Michael Murray, Rupert Friend and Corbin Bleu."
