H-E-B Quest for Texas Best Houston Finalists First Taste with Lazy Bee Honey Co.
Houston Style Magazine Managing Editor Jo-Carolyn Goode was on hand at H-E-B's Private Media Preview to get a first taste of the products from the eight Houston-area food entrepreneurs who made the top 25 finalists of this year’s Quest for Texas Best statewide food competition. Out of 560 applicants from across the state, the top 25 finalists have moved to the next judging round and one step closer for cash prizes and being sold on H-E-B shelves. Additional details are attached for the top 25 finalists.

State Representative Penny Morales Shaw shares her views on the bills before the state Senate. She is an attorney in Houston, Texas, where she represents the 148th District in the Texas House of Representatives, which includes parts of Spring Branch, Garden Oaks / Oak Forest, Carverdale, and Cypress-Fairbanks. She is a native Houstonian, attended Houston public schools, and has lived in northwest Houston for the past ten years, where she raised four successful children as a single mother while managing her multi-state law practice. Penny understands the challenges that face working families and this shapes the passion and pragmatism that drive her advocacy.

Beck. Executive producers are Walter Hamada, Adam Schlagman, Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Victoria Palmeri, Marcus Viscidi and Geoff Johns. Joining director Sandberg behind-the-camera are director of photography Gyula Pados (the “Jumanji” franchise), production designer Paul Kirby (“The Old Guard,” “Jason Bourne”) and editor Michel Aller (“Shazam!,” “The Nun”).
