Josue would have graduated from Northside in May, and METRO dedicates this shelter memorial in his honor. In Run All Night, we see Liam Neeson's Jimmy Conlon squaring off against Ed Harris' Shawn Maguire. The two men are friends who've turned enemies after Neeson kills Harris' son to protect his own. Now it's up to Neeson and his son, played by Joel Kinnaman, to stay ahead of Harris' goons, crooked cops, and any one else that stands in the way of the duo surviving a rather perilous night in New York City. After watching the trailer for Run All Night, it looks like the project brings an even balance of good news and bad news. We'll start with the good news: the action looks on par with some of the finest Liam Neeson action pictures we've seen in recent years. In particular, the shot of Neeson wielding a particularly acrobatic shotgun is one of the coolest shots we've seen in a long while. Not to mention, the fact that Liam Neeson and Ed Harris are facing each other is a match up we wouldn't miss even if this film was directed by the man behind Unknown and Non-Stop.

Dragon Blade Trailer
Written and directed by Daniel Lee, Dragon Blade is set in China in the year 48 BC. Jackie Chan plays Huo An, a commander with a 1,000-soldier army who teams up with a Roman general named Lucius (John Cusack) to try and protect the borders of China from external invaders. Unfortunately, the blood-thirsty Tiberius (Adrien Brody) has a score to settle with Lucius, and heads his direction with an army of 100,000. I'm sure that part of it has to do with the fact that this trailer (via Webzine Check) feels like it was hastily cut together, but I can't say that I have a tremendous amount of confidence in the quality of Dragon Blade. There are scenes clearly set against fake backdrops, a bit of over-dramatic screaming, a good amount of stilted dialogue, and worst of all I'm just having a really hard time seeing John Cusack as a Roman soldier. Of course, this is just a preview and the final product could be miles and miles better, but this really isn't doing much to give me confidence.

Macy's Welcomes Gaby Espino in Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month
Houston Style Magazine reporter and media personality Totally Randie talked with telenovela star, Gaby Espino. Macy’s Memorial City welcomed Espino as it celebrated Hispanic and Latino cultures. The in-store event at Macy’s highlighted the art of the telenovela, exploring how it has become a staple of Spanish language entertainment and a genre that has had the ability to capture the attention of multiple generations. Espino was joined by event host, Laura Sierra for an in-depth conversation around Hispanic Heritage that celebrated the future while paying tribute to the past. Fight Night SIX 2016
Premiere boxing is making a hard hitting comeback to Houston. This past Saturday, over two thousand spectators made their way to the Arabia Shrine Center to enjoy ten match ups with some of Houston’s own boxing elite. This highly anticipated “Fight Night Six” was hosted by G & M Boxing Promotions. While the boxers were warmed up backstage Houston Style was able to speak with hometown favorite and undefeated super welter weight boxer Devante “Boogyman” Williams, who was beyond excited to go in the ring and annihilate his opponent.
