Houston Style Magazine reporters Samantha Vallejo and Mimi ------ attended The 2013 Inaugural UNICEF Audrey Hepburn Society Ball held at Houston's Wortham Theatre Center. The September 6th, event honored philanthropist Margaret Alkek Williams, First U.S. Recipient. Emcee Jesse Metcalfe told HSM why he decided to become part of the UNICEF Foundation. After congratulating Margaret Alkek Williams for her extraordinary dedication and her award recognition HSM asked her why she picked UNICEF as her charity of choice, she whispered "for the kids, I did it for the kids." The legendary and late Audrey Hepburn's son Sean Hepburn Ferrer englightened HSM on how his mother instilled in the hearts and minds all over the world a passion for UNICEF.

We are pleased to release the ALL NEW TRAILER for the graphic novel of THE FIFTH BEATLE! The Fifth Beatle follows the life of The Beatles' manager Brian Epstein who was known to many as "The Fifth Beatle" due to his efforts in grooming the band's persona. The graphic novel (which will be released on Nov. 19 by Dark Horse Comics) already has a film adaptation in development (with Beatles music rights secured).

Broadway and Film Actress DeQuina Moore is a native Houstonian who is back in the city for Flashdance: the Musical playing at the Hobby Center starting June 4, 2013. She plays the sexy, sassy, scintillating "Kiki" in the 1980's hit movie turned musical "FLASHDANCE". DeQuina's powerhouse voice landed her the lead role of Kiki, a small-time club dancer "who's got a sassy step and a commanding, turn-men-to-stone voice". DeQuina was born and raised in Houston. She graduated from Houston's High School for the Performing and Visual ( HSPVA ) and trained at The Ensemble Theatre in their Young Performers Program.
