As I walked down the aisles of the grocery store this afternoon, I could see a difference in the normal attire of the customers. I had become accustomed to seeing people aka fans wearing Houston Astros World Championships shirts up and down aisles. But today my eyes had to do some adjusting to something I had not seen in a while. It had me dazed and confused for a second as the stream of orange and blue had more hues of red in it. As my eyes focus clearly I realized why there was now an abundance of Houston Texans jerseys being worn by fans throughout the store.

“Even though they didn’t get the win it is always a pleasure to see my son play,” said Sam Bregman who is the father of Astros All-Star third baseman Alex Bregman after the game as he made his way towards the clubhouse. Astros resume Summer Camp 2020 after receiving COVID-19 results
The Houston Astros resumed Summer Camp workouts today after cancelling Monday’s practice due to a slow return of COVID-19 test results from the MLB. The players and organization took test this past weekend and with results being delayed they decided not to take any chances by having practice at Minute Maid Park or the University of Houston baseball facilities.

The Astros celebrated catcher Martin Maldonado’s birthday with a walk-off win
Kyle Tucker capped off a great birthday weekend for his teammate Martin Maldonado. His walk-off homerun in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the Astros (11-10) a 3-2 win over the Seattle Mariners (7-16) and capped off a sweep of the series. Houston is now on a four-game winning streak and have won five out of the six games they have played in Minute Made Park.

Green Bay, Wis.- One thing you can say about the residents of Green Bay is they love them some football. 72,928 fans turned out to watch the Houston Texans and Green Bay Packers play their first 2019 preseason game at Lambeau Field. Green Bay defeated Houston by a score of 28 -26.
Caliente: The Houston Astros are blazing through the rest of the AL
They say history has a strange way of repeating itself. If that is true, then some Astros fans need to be putting in for vacation days from work in October for the World Series parade in downtown Houston. The Astros became the first team to reach 70-wins in the American League this year after defeating the Cleveland Indians on last Thursday. They are currently on pace to go over 100 wins for the third straight year and would be the first team since the 2002-04 Yankees to do so. Having won 14 of their last 17 games and 8-2 in their last 10, they also hold a very sizeable lead in the AL West at 8.5.
