Cousins and Rockets are set to part ways at some point this season according to reports
The Houston Rockets organization has been a standup franchise this NBA season. For a team that has been through a ton of adversity, they keep doing what’s best for the team and the players. On Saturday, it was reported that the Rockets and reserve center DeMarcus Cousins are set to part ways sometime this season and a transaction could happen before the NBA All-Star break which is set for the first weekend in March.

Sometimes all you need in life is a little fresh air to help make things feel better. Well at least that is how the Houston Texans felt after they won their third game of the 2020 NFL season to improve to 3-7 against the New England Patriots by a score of 27-20. The Texans opened the retractable roof at NRG Stadium for the first time since November 30, 2014 and the Texans took full advantage of great football weather in Houston.

Houston – Do you remember when you were younger playing a game of tag at school? And there were always those couple of kids you just didn’t run after because they were too fast to catch. That is what over 6,500 fans in attendance got a chance to witness at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas. The American Flag Football Championship was played in front of a crowd that included Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, Texans defensive back Tyrann Mathieu, former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, and a host of other current and former NFL players who perused up and down the sidelines during the game. Yes, they were all pretty fast to catch.

The Astros (14-10) had an offensive outburst to the tune of 13 runs and 20 hits at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado to defeat the Rockies (13-11) by a score of 13-6 for its seventh straight win and third win in as many days against Colorado.

It is not often a baseball fan gets to witness the team they cheer for get 100 wins in a season. On tonight, 38,417 fans did. The Astros (100-53) defeated the Texas Rangers (74-79) 3-2 behind a strong pitching performance from the Major League leader in strikeouts, Gerrit Cole (18-5). He also became the fastest pitcher in Astros history to reach 300 strikeouts in a season. The last pitchers to reach such an accomplishment were Mike Scott in 1986 (306) and J.R. Richards, who did it twice in 1978 (307) and 1979 (313).

Panthers Dominate Pine-Bluff Early To Stay Undefeated In Conference Play
Prairie View A&M ran away from the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff on Thursday night as they rushed for 289 yards in a 27-17 win at Panther Stadium. The Panthers improved to 4-1 on the season, but more importantly, they pushed their conference record to 3-0 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Western division.
