Houston Texans Rookie Floyd Allen Talks About Being Homeless
Back in 2018, I decided that I was going to see what it would be like to live out of my car. For two days in a row (One documented on social media through Facebook Live) I lived as if I had nowhere to go. Let me say that those were the hardest two days I have ever been through in my life and I have lived in the Middle East (Afghanistan) for a year in the mountains.

Astros finish off the A’s to advance to their fourth consecutive ALCS
There is no secret that there has been plenty of bad blood between the Houston Astros and the Oakland A’s this season. By now everyone knows about A’s pitcher Mike Fiers blowing the whistle on the 2017 cheating scandal. Fans are also well aware about the small kerfuffle that occurred earlier this season in Oakland between A’s outfielder Ramon Laureano and Astros hitting coach Alex Cintron that caused both dugouts and bullpens to clear. Heart and Soul: Houston Rockets Guard Patrick Beverly
Anyone who has watched the Houston Rockets can tell who the #1 player on the court is for them, James Harden. There is no debating that when it comes to talent and leadership, Harden is the man. But there is another player on the court who displays those same qualities and could be clearly seen as #2 when it comes to leadership. Ironically, #2 is his jersey number as well. Houston Rockets’ guard Patrick Beverly brings pure grit and determination as soon as he laces up his sneakers.

Most fans in Houston were expecting some bumps in the road to start the 2019-20 season when the Rockets acquired former NBA MVP and energizer bunny, Russell Westbrook, this past offseason via trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Houston had endured that form of misery when they acquired future NBA Hall of Famer, Chris Paul two seasons ago from the Los Angeles Clippers. Last season they were counted out by the national media when at one point they dwelled at the bottom of the Western Conference before James Harden turned their season around with a plethora of 50-point scoring performances.

Identity Check The Rockets have established themselves during six-game winning streak.
Two weeks ago, the Houston Rockets was a team with no identity. They had just lost their third game in a row to drop their record to 4-9. The rotation was about as stable as a three-legged table due to injuries, health and safety protocols in accordance with league policy on COVID-19 and the trade of franchise superstar James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets. Those were just some of the things keeping head coach Stephen Silas up late at night.

Passion: Texans Hold Joint Practices As They Prepare for Their Second Preseason Game
I remember playing basketball in a league for an older gentleman. No, it was not a senior league for those who like to make fun of my age. As we are warming up, one of my teammates gets into it with a player from the other team. It got so heated that the teams had to be separated and my teammate was ejected before the game even started. That one gesture had us so fired up that we ended up blowing the other team out. His passion drove us to step our game up another level.
