Bounce Back: Texans Look to Bounce Back From First Loss of the Season
Polly Campbell once wrote an article in Psychology Today about ways to bounce back after any setback. “Mistakes yield the opportunities and insights we need to ultimately succeed in life," said Campbell. No sentence is more accurate to describe what the Houston Texans must do after a tough loss (27-20) in their 2018 NFL season opener to the New England Patriots. Houston made a lot of mistakes in that game, but none that should hinder them from having success this season.
Texas Two-Step: Houston Texans Takes On In-State Rival the Dallas Cowboys for Bragging Rights
There are certain things that will let you know you are in the state of Texas. No matter how many times you have seen a person they will still greet you with, “Hey. How are you doing?” Manners is a must growing up in Texas and that’s why we always say, “Sir or Ma’am.” You will always hear stories about how this person’s barbeque is better than that person’s because in Texas barbeque is the state food. But nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, speaks louder than “FOOTBALL,” in the great State of Texas and this week’s matchup will definitely have the volume past a ten.
Home Cooking: Houston Texans Defeat the Cleveland Browns
The Houston Texans got a much needed victory this past Sunday at NRG stadium by defeating the Cleveland Browns 33-17. The Texans got back to their winning ways and got a week off before heading to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. According to Field Yates from ESPN, the XFL is suspending all day-to-day operations and all league employees have been laid off. He spoke with XFL CEO Jeff Pollack who informed him of the decision.

Are you ready for some football? Well not yet. There are still five months to go before NFL Kickoff 2018, but if you are a die-hard Texans fan, you have every reason to be excited. Houston held their off-season media interviews with players such as WR Deandre Hopkins, QB Deshaun Watson, LB Whitney Mercilus, S Tyrann Mathieu and DE J.J. Watt. Coming off an injury riddled season that led to a 4-12 record, the Texans look to bounce back stronger than ever this year.
Houston Texans Take On the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3 of the Preseason
Nothing says football is almost back than friendly barbershop debates. “Watson will have a better career than Dak,” says one die hard Texans fan from across the room waiting on the next available barber. “Believe that if you want. The Cowboys are going to surprise people this year,” says another patron who is decked out in Dallas gear.

On A Mission: Souper Bowl of Caring Holds Annual Fundraiser and Awards Luncheon
Who knew that in 1990, before Super Bowl 24 was played by the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos, that an organization designed around young people to help fight hunger, poverty, and homelessness in the United States would be started by a small but powerful prayer?

“It was great seeing all the orange jersey’s out there,” Manager Dusty Baker said about the crowd. “It made a big difference, and I could see the positive energy it had on our team.”
Watson’s game speaks volumes around the NFL
It’s almost becoming a cliché around the league and a statement that has been uttered numerous amounts of times on Houston sports radio and social media pages of Texans fans everywhere.
Slump Busters Correa And Tucker Leads The Astros To Victory Over The Padres
For the Houston Astros, that feeling was something they were not used to at all going 22 innings without scoring a run. The last run the Astros had scored going into the game against the San Diego Padres on Friday night came in the eighth inning of a 4-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Monday night.

On Wednesday night they finally caught up to Houston Rockets head coach Stephen Silas after he watched his team drop their ninth straight game losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers 112 – 96.
