One thing I love about getting together with some of my old high school football teammates is the reminiscing we do about our greatest moments during our four-year careers. Some have more stories than others, but that is ok because we listen to all the stories with the same enthusiasm as the previous 50-times we heard them. For us it’s just about reliving the moment.

Even though the weather outside of NRG stadium was a frigid 50 degrees and before you begin to laugh, that is very cold for a city that is used to 75 degrees with humidity added. Inside the stadium was blazing with one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now. The Houston Texans defeated the Tennessee Titans 34-17 to extend their winning streak to 8 games. They also completed the first game of a three game homestand (Browns, Colts).
The Astros Didn’t Forget
Houston (2-0) scored nine runs on Friday night to defeat Oakland (0-2) by a score of 9-5. The Astros are now 5-1 in their last six games against the A’s dating back to last year’s postseason and have a total of 50 runs scored against them.
XFL Returns to Houston
Oliver Luck stood at the podium and flashed his huge smile that most Houstonians remember from his time as a quarterback for the Houston Oilers, CEO of Houston Sports Authority, and President/GM of the Houston Dynamo. Luck was in town to announce the new coach and general manager of the XFL team that will begin play in Houston at TDEC Stadium at the beginning of 2020.
