Maybe they should have put some of those points in a safe deposit box to be used two months later. This past Sunday, the Texans lost to the Titans 24 – 13, and are 1- 4 since rookie QB Deshaun Watson went on injured reserve.

Texas Two-Step: Houston Texans Takes On In-State Rival the Dallas Cowboys for Bragging Rights

There are certain things that will let you know you are in the state of Texas. No matter how many times you have seen a person they will still greet you with, “Hey. How are you doing?” Manners is a must growing up in Texas and that’s why we always say, “Sir or Ma’am.” You will always hear stories about how this person’s barbeque is better than that person’s because in Texas barbeque is the state food. But nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, speaks louder than “FOOTBALL,” in the great State of Texas and this week’s matchup will definitely have the volume past a ten.

Home Cooking: Houston Texans Plays First Home Game of the 2018 NFL Season Against the Giants

Growing up, I can admit that I wasn’t the perfect angel. I know that’s hard to believe but it’s true. There were a lot of lessons I had to learn the hard way, which would lead my grandmother to always say her favorite phrase before she would politely show me the meaning of it. Literally. “A hard head makes a soft butt.” If the Texans don’t learn from their miscues in a 20 – 17 loss to division rival Tennessee Titans, they will have to learn that phrase the hard way. They start the season 0-3.

The Comeback 2

Houston brings back old memories for Oiler fans after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Game 51-31

In 1996, Bud Adams decided that his time was up here in Houston and moved the team to Tennessee. He had been battling the city for a new stadium and when he didn’t get it, he loaded the U-Haul truck and headed to Nashville. In that truck was all the team history that had accumulated over the years since the team became a charter member in the American Football League in the 1960s.
