The American Flag Football Championship was played in front of a crowd that included Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, Texans defensive back Tyrann Mathieu, former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, and a host of other current and former NFL players who perused up and down the sidelines during the game. Yes, they were all pretty fast to catch.

The Houston Texans resumed training camp today, with a joint practice with the Detroit Lions who is in town early for their preseason matchup with the Texans on Saturday at NRG Stadium. With the fans looking on, the competition got a little heated at times with trash talking by both teams being heard by fans, but it was all in fun. Rockets Defeat The Magic On Hot Shooting From Three-Point Range
No matter how few and far between they have come, the Houston Rockets enjoy every victory they get. After defeating the Dallas Mavericks at home, the Rockets lost five games in a row, but was able to get a much-needed win on Sunday to break the losing streak with a win over the Orlando Magic by a score of 114-110.
Correa avoids arbitration by agreeing to one-year deal with the Astros
The Houston Astros have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with All-Star shortstop Carlos Correa. Correa, who was the only remaining, unsigned arbitration-eligible player on the Astros roster signed for $11.7 million. He was seeking $12.5 million, but the team ha only offered $9.75 million.

Rockets Are Learning Quickly That The NBA Does Not Count Moral Victories

The Houston Astros got a much-needed win on Tuesday night defeating the Colorado Rockies 5-0 at home to end the Rockies winning streak at four-games. The Tigers (0-1) had a total of four turnovers (2 fumbles, 2 interceptions) with one fumble coming on the potential game winning drive that was recovered by the Panthers.
