Astros’ George Springer “Strikes Out” 3rd Annual Bowling Benefit for Camp SAY
The worst thing a baseball player can hear is the word strike. But on this night that word was what George Springer and all the Houston Astros players in attendance wanted to hear as they made strikes for children who stutter. Astros’ Outfielder George Springer brought along family, friends, and teammates to help raise money for underprivileged youth to attend Camp SAY at the Third Annual George Springer All-Star Bowling Benefit.
Texans Find Themselves at a Crossroad Against the Bears
As the Houston Texans prepare to take on the Chicago Bears this weekend a lot will be made on why the Bears did not use their draft pick in the 2017 NFL Draft to take Deshaun Watson. The Houston Texans ended up taking Watson after they made a trade to move up to get the quarterback out of Clemson. Yet, I feel the more important question should be, "How will the Texans finish out the season?"
AFC Contenders Clash: Houston Texans vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Coming into the season, the Houston Texans looked at the schedule and marked a three-game stretch of games that would give them an idea of where they stood as a team. Reigning Super Bowl Champions New England Patriots, strong divisional foe Tennessee Titans, and the team predicted to give New England competition atop of the AFC, Kansas City Chiefs, were the teams Houston looked forward to playing.
Rockets Are Learning Quickly That The NBA Does Not Count Moral Victories
If they ever added a third column for moral victories, the Houston Rockets would have the best record in the league. On Saturday, the Rockets lost to the New York Knicks 106-99, and as it has been for most games throughout their season-high 14 games losing streak, they were close but couldn’t finish the deal.

Road Trip To Cleveland Helps Astros Get Back To Their Winning Ways
By the time the Astros return to Houston on Sunday night they should be refreshed and no residue from the last home stand where they were swept by the Baltimore Orioles should remain. On Saturday the Astros defeated the Cleveland Indians by a score of 3-2 to win their third game in a row.
Astros Offense Comes To Life As They Defeat The Ranger 7-2
The Houston Astros got some much-needed offense on Wednesday in a 7-2 defeat of the Texas Rangers. One day after producing only one run in a loss on Tuesday to the Rangers, Houston used back-to-back home runs by outfielder Jake Meyers and infielder Marwin Gonzalez in the second inning to get on the board first and that lead would never be relinquished as starting pitcher Jose Urquidy (7-3) pitched six innings and only allowed one run.
Win Comes With A Cost Rockets blowout Grizzles but lose a key starter in the process.
One night after being blown out by the Oklahoma City Thunder and having their six-game winning streak snapped, the Houston Rockets (11-10) bounced back to defeat the Memphis Grizzles (9-8) by a score of 115-103 to 3-1 on the road. Although the blowout victory feels good to a team that lost by double digits the night before, it came with a huge cost.

The Houston Astros continued their offensive explosion from Game 4 of the American League Championship Series on Wednesday, as they defeated the Boston Red Sox 9-1 in Game 5 to take a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Sometimes life comes at you very hard and very fast. It is something you wish you could control, but I have learned that it is something you can’t. For the Houston Texans, they are trying to do their best to just get out of the whirlwind that this early 2020 NFL season has them in. Houston (0-3) dropped their third game of the season to the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0) losing in Heinz Field by a score of 28-21.
Never Settle: The Houston Astros begin their bid to repeat as World Series Champions
One definition of the word settle is: to make stable; place in a permanent position or on a permanent basis. But for the Houston Astros, they have taken that word and made it a mantra for the 2018 Major League Baseball season. “Never Settle” is plastered over every piece of literature throughout the clubhouse and Minute Maid Park as a constant reminder that the 2017 season is over. Now don’t get me wrong, they were highly successful on last season by winning the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, but that was last year.
