Volkswagen Passat GT: A New Version of Cool
What is cool is ever changing as it is defined by a generation. Trends in music, fashion, and language help to bring meaning to “being cool.” Topping that list are cars, specifically sports cars. They are fast, fierce, and oh so fun to drive. Nothing could be cooler. For a week, I got to sit in the driver’s seat of Volkswagen’s sporty mid-size sedan, the 2018 Volkswagen Passat GT V6 and learned how it is a new version of cool.

Over the years we have constantly chipped away at America’s problem with systemic racism. Yet, instill, the problem persists. If we take what divides us to unit us, together we could bring about real change. We could be the change we want to see.

With his passing, Houston has lost a bit of its color. Green was found dead in his bed at home on Tuesday, March 6. He was 52 years old.

Difficulties are with individuals owning this as their reality as a threat to their mental health can be an even bigger problem than dealing with stress and anxiety itself.

Houston Texans Announce Expansion of Girls Flag Program
Program will now include high school teams from Houston ISD
Today, the Houston Texans announced the expansion of their Girls FLAG Football Program. The program will feature 12 high school teams from Houston Independent School District (HISD), the eighth largest school district in the nation, and nine high school teams from the Texas Charter School Academic and Athletic League. The girls will compete in a six-week season, with gameplay beginning on April 13 and concluding in mid-May. The championship games to be held at the Houston Methodist Training Center.
