Congressman Green traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday, March 28, 2021, with fellow CAPAC members to visit the sites of the March 16 shootings and to meet with two of the victims’ families. He has also spoken out against the recent physical attack on a 65-year-old Asian woman in Manhattan.

Today, the Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans (AAMA) will host a special Day of Service in honor of legacy civic leaders Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta. Sanchez Charter Schools will volunteer at both Houston campuses to update on-site murals, stain a back fence, pick up trash on the property, mulch and trim bushes, among various other beautification projects.
