The Breakfast Klub Hosts HBCU Send-Off for College Students

Popular Houston restaurant The Breakfast Klub recognizes local students headed to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the Fall with celebratory event.

Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) across the country are seeing a resurgence of interest and funding in the last few years. To support incoming freshmen students at HBCUs and to encourage them as they embark on a new chapter of their lives, The Breakfast Klub is hosting a free celebratory event, HBCU Sendoff. Approximately 150 students are expected to attend. Registration is required.

On Saturday, November 28, 2020, Congressman Al Green joined Lemond Kitchen at the Power Center, located in the Ninth Congressional District represented by Congressman Green, for a meal distribution event.
